Story linking post
We're now opening up the lgbtfest prompts for anyone who wants to use them as inspiration. There's no claiming at this point, so feel free to write for any prompt you like.

Please post any new stories written for the prompts in your own journal (or to AO3, or wherever else you want), and link to them here in comments.

If you missed your posting date but have now finished your story for the fest, you're welcome to link it here as well. There's no minimum word limit for stories written between rounds of the fest, so if your story didn't hit 1000 words, you can link it here.

Believe it or not I'm too lazy to log in on FF right now but I loved this, especially the part about Tonks' gender swap, that was super hot. Thanks for a great read!

Re: Burn Notice: "Truth and Beauty" by Missy
dgfegs Why did you not tell me you'd actually gone and written it. It's great, lots of snark and daring-do and Sam being uncomfortable with this whole romance thing. Dialogue's a bit off, but it's hard to capture perfection with mere fanfiction.

Re: Burn Notice: "Truth and Beauty" by Missy
*facepalm* I so meant to email you when I posted it, but July's been hell for me and I haven't had a stable interweb connection since the beginning of the month. Now that everything's ironed out, I meant to send you the link, but I'm glad you stumbled on it first! I'm so relieved you like it (and urgh, I was worried about the dialouge sounding a tad inorganic).

If you'd like a text or doc copy for keeps, let me know; I'd be glad to send it along!

Re: Burn Notice: "Truth and Beauty" by Missy
It's not inorganic, it's just not as...them. But the emotion was there and the basic plot flowed like an episode (loved the bit with Sam playing video games with Barry as his proxy), and they reacted about as I thought they would.

Heh, I dropped by to see if anything new was here. You have improved my day spontaneously!

Torchwood (+Equilibrium): Second in Line by svollga and eithne-ame
Fandom: Torchwood/Equilibrium
Title + link to the story: Second in Line
Author: Saint-Olga & Eithne-Ame
Pairing/characters: Jack/Ianto (primary poly couple), Jack/Preston (secondary poly couple)
Rating: PG-13
Prompt: 621. Torchwood, Jack Harkness/Ianto Jones/any other character or OC, understanding of non-monogamous relationship.
Your summary: The abstract notion of ‘love’ carried no clear explanation as to how exactly it happened, so it would be just a bit useful to learn something about it not from movies, but from the real life around him. Not to watch, that was really… impolite and sort of disturbing – but to understand. In some way.

Fandom: Torchwood
Title: Dancing Non-Traditionally
Author: meatball42
Pairing/characters: Jack/Ianto, Jack/Nine/Rose, Jack/Various OCs
Rating: R
Prompt: Five people/aliens Jack slept with whose gender identities can only be explained with complicated flowcharts.
Your summary: When Ianto asks after one of Jack's stories, he gets an anthology.
Author's Note: Written for queer_fest and fivetimesbb from a prompt that I found on lgbtfest. Much like some of the characters in this story, this fic has confusing parentage.
Art: crescent_gaia created an intruiging and beautiful fanmix for this story which can be found right here, not to mention so very squee-worthy cover-art.
