X-Men Comicsverse: "Identity Broadcast" by Alara Rogers

Title: Identity Broadcast
Author: [info]alara_r
Fandom: X-Men Comicverse
Characters: Charles Xavier, Henry "Hank" McCoy, Scott Summers, Emma Frost, discussion of Cassandra Nova and Erik Lehnsherr
Pairings: No main pairings, but past background Charles/Moira, Charles/Amelia, and implied Charles/Erik
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: Characters owned by Marvel Comics, no money being made by me.
Prompt: 2056. Marvel Comics (X-Men), Charles Xavier, how the hell does a bio-man have an identical twin sister anyway?
Summary: Charles used to use his telepathy to subconsciously broadcast a sense of his identity to everyone, before he learned how to stop. Hank McCoy has just found out that Charles used to be biologically female, and is upset that Charles never allowed him to notice this before. But how much of a violation is it, to use your telepathy to tell the world who you really are, as opposed to what you look like?
Warnings: None really
Canon time period: This takes place in the current timeline, the "Utopia" era.
Author's Notes: Sorry this is a day late - I've been sick for a week. It's also unbeta'ed and may not be up to my usual standards, but I'm already a day late.
